This workshop will include some basic anatomy of the thorax. Verity will explain how the ribs "breathe you", instead of the other way around, and demonstrate how almost all shoulder and neck issues are due to the position and movement of the ribs.
She will teach some simple ways to assess your own rib movement and explain the importance of rib stability and mobility for adaptable breathing, which is the secret to longevity.
She will also teach 5 of the best PRI-based rib moves that you can take home with you and add to your practice.

How to Prepare for Class
- Be prepared to have your camera ON for class.
- Set your space so that the instructor can see you whether you are standing up or lying on your mat.
- Do not eat for at least 1 hour prior to class.
- Bring water so you can stay hydrated during class.
- Wear flexible clothing that allows for full mobility.
- Have a mat available for your comfort.
- Have access to empty wall space.
- Have access to a mirror for assessing your breathing pattern.
