Are you tired of not being able to reach over head, or scratch behind your back? Or maybe you're trying to up your pickleball game? Well, expert trainer and therapist, Chris Crawford, is back to help you Free the Scap!
Believe it or not, there are 5 joints that make up your shoulder complex! And each of them has to function efficiently on its own, as well as in harmony with all the others, for you to experience optimal stability and movement.
In this 90-minute workshop, Chris will teach you to have greater awareness of your entire shoulder complex, and help you to improve your alignment, strength and mobility.
Chris will also address the most common shoulder injuries and offer expert tips to help you recover quickly or, better yet, avoid injury altogether.
What You Will Get From This Workshop:
- Learn what your shoulder is and how it actually moves
- Realize that not all shoulders are created equally and that your two shoulders might behave drastically differently
- Understand how your breathing impacts your shoulder position and ease of movement
- Understand how your shoulders directly relate to your neck and jaw
- Learn about the most common shoulder-related injuries and the exact movements you can practice in order to prevent them
- Enjoy a 50-minute movement-based workout that focuses on improving alignment, strength and mobility
- Experience what it means to flow through life fluidly, without pain or limitation

HOW TO PREPARE FOR CLASS
To get the most benefit out of this informative and experiential workshop, it is best that you show up LIVE in order to ask the most relevant questions for your needs, and to get the most personalized tips possible.
Even though the workshop will take place via ZOOM, please prepare as if it were a live, in-person class.
(A recording will be made available for 7 days ONLY!)
PREP #1
Everyone who attends will be asked to have their cameras on. Please set your space up in such a way that the instructor can see you in both a standing position, and lying down on your mat.
PREP #2
This workshop will be addressing your fascial system in particular, which is highly sensitive to hydration levels. To ensure you get the most benefit out of class, please be sure to hydrate well, drinking 16-32oz of water before class.
PREP #3
It is not advisable to eat a heavy meal before the workshop. Please do not eat for at least 1 hour prior to class.
PREP #4
You will want to wear flexible clothing that still allows the instructor to see the basic shape and posture of your body. Please no jeans or stiff pants. You will want to be able to move freely without hindrance.
PREP #5
Some of the class will take place on the floor. If you are sensitive to hard surfaces, please be sure to bring a mat with you.
PREP #6
You will need access to a blank wall in order to correctly perform a handful of the exercises.
