Luckily, we can modify our breath holds to also be down-regulators. By using mini-breath holds or medium breath holds, you can actually stimulate the vagus nerve, elicit vasodilation and bronchodilation, and truly calm the nervous system. Mild to moderate breath holds are much more appropriate for specific demographics.
